Community based startup
Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

I am raising money to build a community based business where all ingredients are local and a profit percentage goes towards local projects

I have always had a passion for helping people but the police force, fire brigade or even health careers are just not right for me. About a year ago I found a new love which is making soaps and Bath bombs and this is where I want to integrate my want to make a difference as well as my new passion.

Our business plan is a three prong approach, with the business benefitting other local businesses by using them as suppliers for ingredients such as honey, herbs or flowers. This will not only benefit the local businesses but the local economy. The second prong is to be 100% ecofriendly, with the packaging, the disposal of materials and the sustainable materials used. The third prong is to give back. We aim to give back to the community by supporting local youth groups across the North West where there hasn't been much funding and to help the ambitious young individuals gain their path which may be through education or even as an entrepreneur themself. 20% of the profit will be donated to these causes.

To get to that end goal I am asking for 10000 pounds for equipment, initial stall fees and accreditation for all of the products as to comply with UK standards. This 10000 pounds will also be used to create a website, market the products and ensure a safe storage space for all products.

If you have any questions feel free to ask and I will be more than happy to help.

Got an idea like this?
