INCONVENIENCE
CRIME COMEDY SHORT
Written and producded by Jordan Lewis. Inconvenience is s short crime comedy film about a pair of criminals who decide to turn over a local corner shop, but along the way the main character ‘Kurtis’ makes a ton of mistakes on the way, identifying himself more throughout the course of the film with ends with him and his partners arrest
What made me write this film? My friends always say to me, “Jordan, you’re quite possibly the smartest dumbest person I’ve ever met” I wasn’t quite sure how to take that to be honest but we digress! Myself and a few friends were watching a short film online about a bank heist, and we started a conversation about how we’d do things differently if we were in that situation, and long story short we ended up concluding I would never be able to pull something like that off ever, because I’m to clumsy and find some way to “balls” it up! So that’s pretty much where the idea for Inconvenience came from, with my own spins and twists!
THE GOAL
We have initially set a Lowe target of £5,000 and a "stretch target" to fund the production and post production of INCONVENIENCE. As all of the work so far has gone into developing the script through lockdown. We understand that times are tough right now, and have presented this with a reasonable and achievable target, with room to budget in some areas.
WHO AM I
I am a young professional actor and beginning to breakthrough into the writing part of the industry.
