Make your own Decal-Collage Plate and Mug (Max 8 people in the group) Duration: 2.5 hours Learn about the process of digital ceramic transfers. You will have your own ready-made bone china plate and mug to decorate with a selection of Katie Spragg’s illustrations and/or block colours that you can cut into any shape. The piece will then be fired to make the images permanent and dishwasher safe and will available to collect after the workshop.

Introduction in body casting (Max 8 people in the group) Duration: 2.5 hours In this short introductory workshop, you’ll be introduced to safe and fun processes of body casting. Using alginate and mod roc, we’ll cast any part of your body you like (within reason, there may be children present!) and you will walk away with a plaster replica of your own body parts. This is a great activity for children and families.

Surface decoration techniques workshop (Max 8 people in the group) Duration: 2.5 hours Learn a series of surface techniques for decorating clay using coloured slips, oxide and resists. You will have chance to try processes including scrafitto, stenciling, mono-printing, water-resist and inlay. At the end of the session you can choose two finished tiles to be fired in the kiln and collected after the the workshop.
