We are trying to raise enough money to bring Coco home to the Meadow. Coco is a lovely street puppy we have adopted in Dahab, Egypt. The Meadow is a conservation group in Scarborough who have collaborated with us to help bring Coco home. The reason it's called 'The Meadow' is because within the woods in Scarborough there is a beautiful meadow where volunteers meet every week to try and help the environment with various conservation projects and fundraisers. Eventually, we would like to bring Coco home to the Meadow and see her run around in the fresh English grass and woodlands instead of the desert dirt in Dahab.
We were living in Dahab and were intending to stay with Coco until she was old enough to travel home after her injections, but due to medical reasons I had to return to England early for checkups with the doctors while Dan stayed in Egypt. We need to pay for someone to look after her for the next 2 months and then we need to pay for the flights and for any further medical bills. All the extra money will be donated to help the street dogs of Dahab by feeding them and giving them shelter, water and sterilising them so the number of street dogs will no longer increase. We want to help find adoption homes and bring awareness to the public about street dogs in Dahab, and other countries all around the world.
Dogs in Dahab have it rough. It's a hot country and water is really hard to come by, so we would put water out for the dogs and feed any strays that are in a desperate state. We would love to make this a long-term project in which someone could be employed to feed and water the dogs on the street.
Thank you for reading about our campain, any help would be amazing. These dogs just need some love and compassion.
