New stretch target

Support the ongoing rugby playing opportunities for children via the Academy through the purchase of additional kit and equipment

In recent years the Old Newtonians Rugby Football Club has seen a decline in playing members and this is partly due to the lack of playing opportunities for children and young people. The rich history of the Old Newtonians Rugby Football Club is steeped in its motto Non Sibi Sed Posteris “Not for us, but for those who follow”. Formed from the Alderman Newtons School the club has always prided itself on its strong community foundations.

Our vision, embracing the club motto endeavours to:

“Develop lifelong rugby players building friendships for life”

It is our mission to be the most welcoming and inclusive junior rugby offer in Leicestershire by the end of 2023

A community rugby club is one that strives to achieve rugby excellence from minis through to 1st XV with the majority of its players and coaches derived from the local area: it is largely volunteer-run and plays a strong positive role in the life of the community is serves.

We want the children to be able to develop benefit from the same opportunities we had as children and develop the friendships that we have.

Our crowd has raised over £55 million for bright ideas and good causes.
