We want to raise vital funds for our forthcoming aid trip to Calais for the displaced homeless children.

by Focus4Hope in Brighouse, England, United Kingdom

We’re going to climb the biggest outdoor climbing wall to fundraise for our forthcoming aid trip to Calais.
There are over 200 (with numbers rising daily) displaced children and roughly 2000 refugees living in desperate conditions in Northern France.
Following our previous trips we want to raise vital funds to not only provide essential dental and first aid care but we’d love to take children’s packs too.
These children literally have nothing but the clothes on their backs as they have fled war torn countries to hopefully reach safety and a better life. Unfortunately they have arrived in France and are not living in safety but in squalor makeshift camps with little or no access to running water and no provision to cook food.
We want to brighten their hopes and put smiles on their faces by handing out rucksacks containing a waterproof coat, hat, scarves & gloves, hairbrush, hand warmers, toothbrush & paste, hygiene kit, game, colouring/sticker book, first aid kit etc.
You can support our project by either sponsoring us to do the climb or you can join us and get sponsors for yourself to complete the climb.
