Since early November 2018 young people have been learning about fresh water and what human behaviour threatens to damage that tiny percentage of drinking water that humans so desperately need to survive.
A quick calculation estimates that we used around 12,000 liters of water at the farm during 5 months. We are therefore attempting to raise £200 to buy the materials needed for guttering and a water butt to combat this figure for 2019. Any second hand donations that are in good condition are also greatly appreciated!
In the video young people show off the most vital bits of information they have learned throughout the weeks and have been inspired to take action, in this case to help combat fresh water from the hose being used to water crops in the summer months.
All support is greatly appreciated, and many more climate change projects are in the pipeline so please keep tuned for more!
