Class '98 Fundraiser
We did it
On 31st August 2018 we successfully raised £1,080 with 25 supporters in 21 days

We are the class of '98 and we are trying to raise R40 000 (£2500) to sponsor a girl's school fees for a year by 31 August 2018.

by Kat Jasven in City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality, South Africa

20% of the girls at Parktown Girls Highschool come from severely underprivileged backgrounds and are therefore unable to pay their school fees. The school desperately needs our help to ensure that getting a good education is a right for everyone and not a luxury for some. Aung San Suu Kyi says, "The education and empowerment of women, cannot fail to result in a more caring, tolerant, just and peaceful life for all."

The only way to truly change the state of a nation is through education.

Please help us change a young girl's future and reach our target of raising R40 000 (£2500) to do this.

Desmond Tutu reminds us, " Do your little bit of good where you are. It's those little bits of good put together, that overwhelm the world. "
