The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for millions of British small businesses, which is going to make it very challenging for businesses to survive. Together we can help them.
Crowdfunder are offering up their platform to allow all UK small businesses to pre-sell their meals, events, hotel bookings etc. for cash now on a promise to redeem these at a later date.
Your donations will help in 3 ways:
1) Help keep me busy and earn a living
2) Help stroke survivors keep active at home during the crisis
3) I am donating 20% of all earnings to the North Enfield Foodbank for the foreseeable future. I am lucky enough to have food on the table but, appreciate that there are those who do not
Until recently, I was delivering classes on behalf of the Stroke Association and I have recently joined with A Stroke of Luck, a charity for stroke survivors, to try and get exercise content available as soon as possible. As all of my 1-1 work is not possible at the moment, it is important to get to people remotely in order for them to continue recovery. You could help pay for online sessions until the lockdown is lifted.
When the lockdown is lifted and it is safe to do so, I will be working with groups and individuals to provide post-hospital exercise sessions. I have access to a neuro rehab gym in the borough of Islington and can also work with people in their homes. I am fully insured and have a current enhanced DBS certificate.
As the Stroke Association do not currently have funding to cover further group sessions, I am looking to set up my own in North London. It is difficult for most of us being under lockdown but, even more so if you are at home recovering from a stroke and unable to access regular physio or exercise groups.
Your help will provide online training, future group classes and 1 to 1 training for stroke survivors and enable me to buy small pieces of equipment (Therabands, weighted poles, etc) for them to use at home between sessions.
