After previewing at the Old Red Lion Theatre, Tom Ratcliffe's 'Circa' transfers to Amsterdam for it's world première. But we need your help!

When a young man stands on a stranger's doorstep intending to lose his virginity, he is consoled by the fact that he is destined for better, safer, things. Surely.
The twenty-first century. Homosexuality is now more integrated than ever. Marriage is legal, parenthood is possible and 'homophobics' are now the one's shunned from society. The time has arrived to replace promiscuity with companionship: but is it really that simple?
After a sell-out R&D showing at The Old Red Lion Theatre in November 2015, Tom Ratcliffe's debut play Circa has been transferred to the Theater de Meervaart, Amsterdam for it's world premiere, directed by Eleanor Clare Taylor (Pieces of Eight-RADA 2015 Festival/BlueSketch; As Assistant Director: Wars of the Roses - Rose Theatre), on the 8th January 2016 as part of Festival Contact. This important new play is about the struggles and realities of finding one person to share your life with, and how relationships along the way shape the person you later become.
As you have probably realised by reading this far down the turnaround of this transfer has happened very quickly and we need help to travel and transform what was a developmental staging in London, into a world premierre in Amsterdam!
Our target is £400. This will buy us a set which we so desperately want and need to make this show all that it can be. After our performance in Amsterdam we will be looking to find the play a London home for all to see back in the UK. We'd be so grateful for any support.
