St Mary and St Berin's Church, Berinsfield is celebrating its 60th anniversary in October. We will be holding a special communion service on Sunday 24th October, at which the new Bishop of Dorchester will be presiding and to which former incumbents of the church are invited. We are also planning to hold a lunch after the service and a craft fayre/historical and flower display in the church hall on Saturday 23rd October as part of the weekend of celebrations.
As part of these celebrations we are hoping to unveil a new welcome and information sign outside the church. We are also hoping to commission a wooden board inside the church listing the names of all the incumbents who have served in this special place. We estimate that the outdoor sign will cost about £200 and the incumbents board will cost approximately £150.
Please consider making a donation towards the costs of these signs, which we hope the Bishop will bless as part of the service. Any additional funds raised over and above the cost of purchasing the signs will go to general church funds.
