This will enable us to cover the cost of business cards, posters and other advertising. 100% of any monies leftover will be used to further anti-poverty projects in Southampton.
To give local voters a real and credible INDEPENDENT anti-poverty alternative to the main parties by enabling Chris to stand in GE2015.
About the project
We are raising funds to enable Chris Davis MBE to stand as an independent candidate in the Southampton Test constituency for the 2015 General Election. We need a minimum of £500 to put towards a basic campaign (mainly leaflet printing).
Chris is passionate about changing the status quo for those who have suffered most from the effects of austerity measures since the 2010 election. He has worked to alleviate the effects of poverty in Southampton for over 20years, and it was for this work that he was awarded his MBE.
Chris will not receive the same type of funding as other political parties do for their campaigns. Funding to support him to get his message out in the area comes completely from small one-off individual donations, so we need your help in order to give people in this constituency a credible alternative candidate to vote for.
£500 would give us the money for vital campaign materials. If we raise more, we'll use the money sensibly to forward the campaign, donating 100% of anything unused to local anti-poverty initiatives.
