This is an appeal for raising money for the children of Abdul Ahad Master (Sana).
Many of us will know Abdul Ahad as a pierce, helpful and a loving person to everyone, young or old.
He unfortunately passed away on 23/04/20 from a heart attack leaving behind 3 young children, Arafat, Adnan & Afrin.
At the age of 15, Ahad was himself an orphan with the passing of his mother.
He had many challenges while growing up, along with his 2 brothers and sister.
His father was a labourer and was not able to support his children with education, purchasing books and other essential needs.
Ahad had to move in with his relatives. They took it upon themselves to educate him and with his determination, he graduated with a Degree and even got a Masters.
With his love of education, he became a teacher.
He taught in Uttar Kushiara High School as an English Teacher for 4 years. He then moved to Forida Khatun Girls School (Fenchugonj) which he taught for over 12 years becoming the Assistant Headteacher.
He then moved to Border Guard Public School as the Assistant Headteacher.
Finally moving to Patanulla Girls High School as the Headteacher.
Ahad developed a heart condition over the years and had to go to Dhaka to get treatment. On 23/04/20, Ahad had a heart attack and passed away.
The appeal is to raise money for his orphan children he left behind.
We all value the importance of education and the appeal is to raise money not just to educate his 3 children, but their upbringing. Ahad was the sole bread earner of the family.
The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) said
“ Whoever takes in an orphan among the Muslims to raise, to feed him and give him drink, Allah admits him into Paradise without a doubt, unless he has done a sin for which he is not forgiven.”
