We make Festivals that matter.

Only with your support is that possible.

Cheltenham Festivals is a charity which produces innovative, world-class content to engage everyone in science and the arts.

Through our four Festivals (Jazz, Science, Music and Literature) and year-round outreach programme we:

• Convene the leading artists and thinkers to perform, create and debate

• Change lives through targeted, long-term creative projects

• Give opportunities to artists at every stage of their careers

• Provide unique experiences which create lasting memories

• Make our region one of the UK’s most thriving cultural hubs

We produce 36 days of Festivals featuring 1,000 events

Literature

Our Literature Festival celebrates the magic of reading. Connecting everyone of any age or background to the wonder of storytelling.

Connecting communities

Supporting all four Cheltenham Festivals, our Education team devises and delivers an exciting programme of activity for schools and other groups in Gloucestershire and sometimes further afield.

Our year-round programmes are for everyone, connecting teachers, children, young people, families, communities, and practitioners with the Festivals.

We must actively raise 96% of our funding every year to bring the arts and sciences live to audiences, to support emerging talent, and to deliver educational programmes.

Support our work

We are streaming Cheltenham Science Festival at Home from 2-7 June on our YouTube channel.  Access is free, but we are asking those who are watching to make a donation to bring the Cheltenham Science Festival back to its tented village in Cheltenham’s Imperial Square for 2021.
