To remember Jonathon on his 30th birthday - for the charities: Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and Brake (road safety) Charity.

In August 2009, my life and the lives of myself, my husband, three sons and daughter forever.

I lost my eldest son Jonathon in a car accident, days after his 20th birthday.  His youngest brother Jacob was also in the car, luckily he came out of the accident relatively unhurt physically.  The emotional effect that this has had on my family is immeasurable.

In 2012, we climbed Snowdon for Brake.  In Jonathon's memory, on what would have been his 30th birthday, we are holding a charity ball at the Rookery Manor in Somerset.  Our aim is to raise as much money as possible.  We have been contacting companies for donations and/or raffle prizes but are struggling to get as much as we could.

I am starting this page to hopefully increase the amounts we can give to these charities.

Nothing can bring my son back, but doing charity events helps us to concentrate our emotions on something other than our loss.

We would be grateful for any help no matter how small.  Also, if you are reading this from a company and would like to donate a raffle prize then please contact me via email to

Brake Charity Number: 1093244

Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance: 1078685
