During the COVID-19 crisis, we need your support to help prevent a reduction in disability sport provision by enabling sport clubs to access and develop sustainable fundraising solutions during these challenging times.
WHO ARE WE?
Over the past 2 years, DBA Sport CIC has helped disabled Clubs, Charities and Not-For-Profit Organisations, generate additional revenue through the implementation of a our delivery framework and the creation of sustainable income streams.
The funds that we help raise are used to provide opportunities and support to people with a disability so they can pursue active lifestyles, gain physical fitness and enjoy competitive sport.
Helping grassroots sport clubs to develop and to provide inclusive access to disabled and non-disabled people alike is one of our priorities at DBA Sport and our partners.
With the support of our partners, we believe that our Engagement Model can be expanded and delivered across the country in a more efficient and timely manner, enabling for greater provision in sport.
We created the Engagement Model to encourage formally constituted sports clubs of all levels to develop sustainable environments that allow disabled people access to sport. By investing in grassroots disability provision like this, more disabled people will be able to get involved in physical activity and sport.
We also hope that this will lead to increasing numbers of high quality sports club environments, where disabled and non-disabled participants can have meaningful and enjoyable sporting experiences.
WHY DO WE NEED YOUR HELP?
DBA Sport has suspended face-to-face Club Engagement and Corporate Business Support due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The health and well-being of our current partner members and employees, as well as those of our future partners is our number one priority.
Our team continue to work tirelessly to promote our services to disability sport clubs, charities and not-for-profit organisations, who themselves are facing challenging times. By providing access to our Engagement Model through digital channels we can still assist these organisations generate vital additional funds.
However as the #ChangeTheGame project is in the 'start up' phase, DBA Sport is not eligible for the Coronavirus Government support packages.
But we need to do more.
We need your help to enable our team to continue to connect with Clubs, Charities and Not-Profit Organisations.
We can achieve this by taking Stage 1 and Stage 2 of our #ChangeTheGame Engagement Model online.
By delivering Stage 1 we will be able to work with a disability club to identify how the club would benefit from adopting the principles of the Engagement Model.
By delivering Stage 2 we will be able to work with a disability club to produce a detailed club financial forcast based on the principles of the Engagement Model.
A disability club that completes both Stage 1 and Stage 2 of the process, will on average increase club funds by £2500 per team per year.
Your donation will enable our team to support disabled clubs and charities in new ways from afar. We will be constantly evolving and adapting to respond to our benefactors needs.
Les work together to keep our disabled athletes active.
