Carrog Village Community is going to regenerate the old phone box!

by Fiona in Carrog, Wales, United Kingdom

As part of the Telephone Kiosk Regeneration Project in North Wales, our phone box has received generous funding and grants from Carrog Village Hall, Corwen Town Council, Cadwyn Clwyd and the AONB Sustainable Development Fund.

Our community can turn the phone box into anything we would like. (information centre, shop, school exhibition space, library, cafe, home away from home, sheep pen, garden…..)

What will happen now?

Cadwyn Clwyd will run events for the community and Ysgol Carrog so that people can decide what the box will be. Then Cadwyn Clwyd will bring in their experts to make the box regenerate.

A bit like Doctor Who ….. Please contribute your ideas. Everyone is welcome!

To begin the community events and transform the box, just over £200 is needed to complete our match funding.

Please help!

Our crowd has raised over £60 million for bright ideas and good causes.
