We did it
On 30th March 2015 we successfully raised £1,135 with 26 supporters in 28 days

To raise funds to pay for the Green candidate's deposit and election materials for the General Election in Aldershot 2015

New stretch target

Many thanks to everyone for helping us to achieve our initial target of £1,100.

That enables me to stand in the elections and to have a leaflet delivered to every household in the constituency.

I am now asking you to help me go one stage further, and fund extra leaflets and posters so I can run as effective a campaign as possible.  We have lots of willing volunteers, all that's stopping us cash!

Thank you again for your generosity.

Carl Hewitt

To raise funds to pay for candidate's deposit and election materials for the General Election

Have you had enough of a country where the gap between the rich and poor increases with EVERY government?

Where billions of pounds can be found to bail out corrupt banks, whilst cuts to vital services are imposed to reduce a deficit we're not responsible for, exacerbated  by multinationals and super-rich avoiding taxes.

I'm standing in this election because the people of Aldershot and Farnborough deserve a local choice. I've lived and worked here most of my life and my daughter goes to school here. This is my home and I care passionately about it.

I believe we've been badly served over the years - where the interests of developers and corporations have been put before those of local people and communities. As a result, Aldershot and Farnborough have suffered from badly planned, inappropriate development with little thought given to the well-being of the people and environment.

My priorities:

  • Preserve our few remaining green spaces from development

  • Oppose more flights with larger aircraft at Farnborough Airfield

  • Improve public transport, more walking, cycling and 20mph zones

  • Protect vulnerable people in our communities and make food banks history.

People have had enough. Membership of the UK Greens has tripled recently, overtaking the LibDems and UKIP with over 60,000 members.

In this election, traditionally safe seats are looking vulnerable. EVERY VOTE WILL COUNT!

My promise: I won't take donations anyone with vested interests. I'll work for you, the people, and nobody else. No second job, Directorships or corporate lobbying.

A Green vote is a demand for positive change. Please help me give everyone the chance to vote Green.  Pledge a donation by clicking on one of the options in the right-hand column. You can pay by PAYPAL or Direct Debit from you bank account using the GOCARDLESS facility.

Thank you!

Carl Hewitt
