Can't Buy My Silence

Abuse hides in the silence of non disclosure agreements. It's a tool for the abuser, and takes even more power from the abused. Please help abolish this practice of using NDA to hide bad behaviour. Give what you can. Every dollar makes a difference.

As a grown woman who had her father arrested and tried for incest and sexual abuse -- I had to sign a DND for the civil case ... and I am not allowed to say his legal name change even though he did 17 years in prison (still there) and is on the dangerous offender's list ... Well well, i think i get it. The NDA is now considered a judgment in the court system. YIKES… How can i help..

I fully support the courageous actions of those who are committed to the service of finding ways to reduce the road blocks imposed through out dated systemic beliefs. Those who are willing to speak up about abuse and mistreatment need the laws and justice system to evolve to support them. It is a complicated process. This needs to be done in a way that is sensitive to the impact of trauma and a long recovery process. Thank you to this cause and its founders, supporters and courageous victims who creating a path of transformation.

End NDAs; they only benefit wrongdoers, also in civil cases.

The reason for NDA's is to cover up illegal activities that must stop!

Let's be kind and calm as we bring the bullies to heel. While I would like to poke them in the eye with a sharp stick, that would be unkind and un- Christian of me. The Bully Charity that forced me to sign an NDA are charlatans and frauds as well as bullies . They can try to spank me for saying this if they want to try. I'm game. Bullies flee the light like night crawling bugs. I'm going to shine the light on them. Jesus said, "Let your light so shine before men that they might see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven." The bullies have brought shame on themselves and their faith.
