Can She Run!?
Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

I want to raise for BIOTHERAPY, an expensive cancer treatment only funded for two years.

So, I need to call on you guys for some help.

Someone I love very very dearly has been effected by the dreaded BASTARD that is Cancer, she is being treated at Southampton General Hospital with an incredible new therapy called BIOTHERAPY which is very expensive and only funded for two years, for half an hour it’s £1000, and she is having £4000 worth every three weeks!

She has been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and is as always being the bravest person in our family about it!

She has been a very important and loving figure for practically my whole life and I’m doing this for her ❤️

Anyone that knows me knows that I will do anything, ANYTHING for people I love, so here goes.....

Anyone that REALLY knows me, knows I HATE RUNNING with a passion.

The thing that makes me quit everytime is the burning I get in my lungs, which now, makes me feel like an utter wimp, with what she’s going through, I’m going to laugh in the face of my pain (gulp)

So to raise a bunch of money for this special person and the incredible therapy she is receiving....... I’m gonna run, and I’m gonna run far!

The furthest I’ve ever run before is 5k and for me it was PURE HELL, but........I’m looking to run a marathon, yes you heard me A MARATHON, it might take me a while, but the goal isn’t the time, it’s the achievement!

So how would you feel about helping me out, I’m not raising money for this incredible lady solely, I’m aiming to raise money to help fund BIOTHERAPY, to help make it more accessible to those who make it past that two year mark, I mean who can afford £4000 every few weeks?

The treatments to fight cancer are developing daily, let’s help push it forward

“biotherapy (BY-oh-THAYR-uh-pee)A type of treatment that uses substances made from living organisms to treat disease. These substances may occur naturally in the body or may be made in the laboratory. Some biotherapies stimulate or suppress the immune system to help the body fight cancer, infection, and other diseases. Other biotherapies attack specific cancer cells, which may help keep them from growing or kill them. They may also lessen certain side effects caused by some cancer treatments. Types of biotherapy include immunotherapy (such as vaccines, cytokines, and some antibodies), gene therapy, and some targeted therapies. Also called biological response modifier therapy, biological therapy, and BRM therapy.”
