The ever changing goal of a mortgage deposit

So close but still feels so far ..... Have got nearly all the money needed saved for a 15 percent deposit but still need some help!

Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

In 2015 I made the decision to move closer to my dad following two strokes and a serious lung condition left from him having TB. Feeling that time was of the essence I sold my house for the first offer made, leaving insufficient funds to put a deposit down on another house and hence went into rented accommodation. Not a problem I thought, we will keep saving and get the difference for the deposit. Then in 2016 my husband was made redundant and our current rent, bills and cost of living on one salary meant a huge dent into the savings. This meant going onto a debt management to keep things afloat. This then spiralled into receiving defaults on 2 credit cards which now means we require a 15 percent deposit. Having saved and saved it feels like this is so close but so short by around £3-5k. On the off chance that any generous souls mihht be able to help us with this and help us get back into a family home a lot quicker than years more saving and waiting. This will get us out of a house  with damp and collapsing ceilings from water leaking.
