Calais kitchen volunteers travel aid

Refugee Community Kitchen - volunteer support

We did it!

On 13th Apr 2016 we successfully raised £540 of £250 target with 13 supporters in 28 days

We are 4 volunteers (aged 17 - 57) from Brighton who are travelling to support the Refugee Comunity Kitchen in Calais and Dunkirk . We wil be delivering suplies of food for the 'care parcels' distrubuted to families in crisis and also working in the new community kitchen in Dinkirk that has had be be re-built after the 'Jungle ' was evicted....

We are asking for your help in funding our transport on our various trips over the channel. Any extra money we raise will go towards others who are travelling and purchasing fresh food  for the kitchens.

Current trips planned :

Delivering food aid and supplying kitchen volunteers ...Departing March 2016

Collecting cans and donations from Brighton Schools to take with us - March   and ongoing

All the proceeds raised will go towards the fuel, ferry and running costs of these and subsequent trips ,thus getting as much aid to those who are very much in need in this cold and dark time.

Please dig deep and think of the familes and people living in shocking  conditions just 22 miles from our centrally heated homes.
