Regardless of our political beliefs our common humanity mourns when we see images of children washed up, dead, on the shores of Europe. Over 5000 refugees are camped in Calais, in substandard conditions. These desperate people are on our doorsteps. We can do something, even if it is just to appease our conscience.
My partner Chris Sturrock and I are traveling to Calais on the 21st to 24th December. We're funding trip costs ourselves. I plan on providing essential medical and dental aid, Chris plans on providing warm food, clothes and donations. Please help us by giving what you can, I assure you every penny goes to the refugees.
