over a year ago I opened a local cafe , I was always hearing the local people, workmen, builders and shop owners saying we need a cafe around here, so I thought being in catering all my life that I may aswell do it, so I did.
I raised the money spent months doing up the shop spending thousands of pounds and for over a year it did amazing continually growing steadily, people were very happy with a local cafe locally, but problems occurred with the building which couldn't be sorted out for me to stay open, leaving me to have to relocate or close completely
I had a shop lined up but it fell through and the only other shop available on that road and area to stay local for people needs too much work that I can't afford due to amount i spent in the last premises on floors, walls and ceilings which I can't take back to redo again ,
this was unexpected, needing the funding as I thought I would be in the premises I was in for years to come, not to have to move.
I could find a shop that doesn't need the work but it will be out of the area and would defeat the object of the local cafe the people have been wanting here for years and they we're happy having me here to come too and meet up with friends.
normally landlords do the work needed if it's a repair , but I need a fireboraded and soundproof ceiling due to people living upstairs and also a toilet for customers.these are not a thing the landlord has to provide as he can rent it out as anyone as the ceiling is fine for other uses it doesnt need repair just not for a cafe or food pemises so he has no obligation, hence why I need to pay.
if I can raise the money I can reopen the cafe for myself and the locals as It became like a community place everyone chats to each other very very friendly atmosphere it will be a shame to lose, I mainly opened the cafe for the people not myself as I had a job, but I enjoyed it so much meeting and cooking for everyone I want to get it back open and my breakfasts are so popular that I'm offering one as a thanks to everyone who donates

I know this is not a charity and no one has to read or donate, it may seem cheeky to some but crowd funding is also for other things like helping businesses it's a mix of things to help people achieve there goals when no other help is available,
help me reach my goal and get our local cafe back in our lovely area
This will also create at least 3 new jobs in the area too ,
