“But I would walk 500 miles”
We did it
On 23rd April 2018 we successfully raised £120 with 5 supporters in 56 days

We are climbing mountains in the hope that our friends, family, extended cousins, travel lovers, LOVE lovers, will join us in raising funds.

*Cue the Proclaimers* “But I would walk 500 miles, and I would walk 500 more..”

We’re Amie and Jack! We are calling out to all Wards, Parkers, McCrows, Johnstons, cousins, close friends, acquaintances, fans, strangers to sponsor Jack and I walking miles and miles to raise funds for our wedding.

Anyone who knows us knows that we spend most of our free time with our gorgeous Patterjack puppy, Raiya, walking up and down everything and anything National Trust (or with fresh air and a view). In the next couple of months we will be Climbing Mount Snowden, Scarfell Pike and Ben Nevis- both for our love of a challenge and in the hope that it will inspire our families, friends and strangers to help us on our journey that will truly be the start of the rest of our lives.

We got engaged in the middle of nowhere covered in mud, snow, watery eyes (and snot!) accompanied by the gorgeous snowy views of home, Somerset, where we both grew up and met. We want to get Married in just the same way- surrounded by nature and it’s gorgeous beauty. Initially we want to raise funds for a big celebration with all our nearest and dearest to see the best day of our lives come to a close!

With a wedding comes fees for officiating, wedding dresses and suits, wedding rings, photographers, honeymoons and everything in between so we are asking you to donate as little or as much as you could to help us on our way. I’m an actor, all of my income is spent on travelling for rehearsals and performing and auditioning and all of Jack’s income goes on supporting us both and saving for our relocation to the city... so we’re asking you to throw in some pennies and support us in whatever way you can.

First stop: MOUNT SNOWDEN! We are travelling to Manchester in a few weeks time to attend the Manchester Theatre  Awards (exciting!!) - as Amie has recently been nominated for Best Performance from her last show, Little Women at Hope Mill Theatre -we will take a detour on the way home to Wales, to climb Mount Snowden in celebration of Amie's win, or loss!

We have set a money mark; if we surpass it, it will be truly amazing, if we achieve under it, it will be equally as amazing. Please share, donate and join us in making a wedding day to remember!

(Any money left over will be used to support an environmental charity of our choice)

All our love,

Jack, Amie and Raiya
