Our charity run early years setting needs a new building for the local children of the area.

by Hayley Manns in Hay On Wye, England, United Kingdom

Our charity run setting was set up many years ago to offer high quality early years to local families in this rural area.

As Busy Bees has grown and more families have moved to the area, (or like me and my family we moved back to the area to have a family) the need for this provision has grown. It is a vital part of our community and therefore we need more than ever an extension so we can offer more families this service. More importantly our existing build is beginning to fail, its cold, damp and not at all suitable for our children. We need a new space, a home from home environment where our little ones both present and future can enjoy.

The build is therefore a 2 phase project, an extension is planned to the front, and a refurbishment to the existing build to make it a warm and welcoming space once more.

The biggest drive behind this project is to continue to build the futures of all our local children, without an early years provision we simple cannot do this. Busy Bees has raised most of the funds they need for this project, and are so close to making this dream become a reality. If we can raise the remainder funds needed we will have a new space where children will be able to grow and develop into confident individuals for years to come.

Not only am I a parent of Busy Bees, I am also lucky enough to work here. Without it, my family couldn't sustain a life in this part of the world, and I would be over the moon if we could raise the remainder funds needed. Any support, big or small will go a long way and will make a difference to lots of peoples lives.

Let's make 'Busy Bees Nursery and Pre-School new building' happen
