We can pay our artists!!
Burnt Roti curates ‘The Beauty of Being British Asian’, an exhibition inspired from Nikita Marwaha’s original essay, which curiously looks at how British Asians navigate their dual identity.
Burnt Roti is a South Asian print and online lifestyle magazine, concentrating on publishing essays about race, colourism, mental health and assimilation.
We've had an overwhelming response from our British Asian artist call out on social media. We currently have around 20 that will be taking part in this exhibition. They will create art in the form of paintings, graphics, photography, installations and any other mixed media formats.
*WILL ADD UPDATES OF ARTISTS DURING THE FUNDRAISING*

To feel like you’re not the only one who suffers from dual identities is a beautiful experience.
The artists who are involved, all connect strongly with this essay.
This exhibition will give them a platform and push them into the eyes and minds of London art lovers.
We need funding for venue costs, so we can hold the exhibition in a London venue, getting as much footfall as possible.
