My business is at the point of wanting to grow. I have lived in Wales most of my life and have found the ideal property in Cefn Mawr in which to expand and diversify. On the edge of the beautiful Dee Valley this property comprised of four story building, land at the rear and side.
These are local attractions.
My project will benifit, the environment, community including tots story morning, teens milk bar, pensioners evening, school visits and student placement. We intend also to try and have the lowest carbon
footprint possible with loads of recycling, solar energy, wind turbine and use of rain water storage and water gadgets to lower use age.
B&B we want built.
The garden will supply the tea room with fresh organic produce and over stock can be sold to community and fill community fridge. Our project will be upmarket but affordable and we will also invite local coach tours to stop off for refreshments. The garden will have a wildlife area with pond, nest boxes with cameras fitted, trail cameras, bee and butterfly border, tropicals hot house and of course all fruit veg and salad, a herb border, bee hives, chickens and ducks. The garden will be created by students from a horticultural college and the gardener a graduate from said college. The craft workshop has 17 sourced local teachers, teaching sewing and knitting through to silk screen painting and leather work. Lessons in the day and advertised further afield weekends. The walking weekends have a nature guide, heritage guide and photography. The heritage comes from the village itself to nearby Chirk castle, Dinas Bran castle, world heritage site pontysycllt aqua duct. As you can see it is a complex project but will benifit the local village community and further afield . With my knowledge of food, staff, locations and experience this could be a fabulous addition to Wrexham and North Wales.
