The Friends of Buile Hill Park would like to bring back to life the Sensory Garden, located at the side of Buile Hill Mansion house.
Since the Mansion House became derelict over 10 years ago, the sensory garden has been closed and allowed to grow wild. Many of the beds have been vandalised and the paths over grown. This is an area which was very dear to many Salfordians, especially people with impaired senses.
This project aims to clear the overgrown vegetation, restore the beds and introduce new plants which restore the garden to its former glory for all to see. Work is to begin in early spring of 2017.
The Mayor of Salford, Paul Dennett and Salford City Council have given us to access and offered to help of dispose of any garden waste that we generate.
In order to succeed we need both volunteers and money to buy equipment, materials and plants, please can you help us by donating so that we can achieve our goal.
Thank You.
