Building a U.K. rescue centre for our Bosnian dogs
We did it
On 21st August 2018 we successfully raised £881 with 41 supporters in 56 days

We are raising money to build a safe, fun and happy home for our Bosnian rescue dogs before they find their forever families.

Fetcher Dog Foundation rescues and protects stray and abandoned dogs from Bosnia and finds them forever homes in the U.K. We rely on our network of generous supporters to help us provide food, accommodation, healthcare and much needed love to our dogs.

Many of the dogs that we care for have been mistreated and saved from high kill shelters in Bosnia and deserve the best care that we can provide. With approximately 60 dogs in our care at all times, and no permanent rescue centre, we are constantly fundraising to keep these dogs safe. Each dog costs approximately £60 per month to board in Bosnia and £7 per day in the U.K. The large sum required for dog boarding per month means that we have limited places available and struggle to rescue all the dogs that need our help.

In order to rescue as many dogs as possible and provide them with a safe and secure place to live, we wish to build our very own rescue centre in the U.K. A rescue centre in the U.K. will also increase our adoption rate and lessen the time each dog spends living without a forever family.

For the first stage of this process, we require £100,000. This is going to be used to acquire the land needed and to get this land ready for building, this includes groundworks and the required licences.  The second stage of this process is the building of our rescue centre. We aim to make our rescue centre as environmentally friendly as possible, using renewable energy sources for power and providing resources and homes to local wildlife. Additional fundraising will be required for the second stage.

This crowdfunding page will be used for various fundraisers, competitions and raffles as well as for random acts of kindness from our wonderful supporters.

Please consider donating to this venture and help us keep as many dogs as safe and as happy as possible.
