We are a group of local parents who re-opened Ravenscourt Park Pre-School after its closure in early 2018. We are now running the school on a voluntary basis for the benefit of all the families who depend on it for quality and affordable early years care. The outdoor play area is of a good size, and is much used by the children, but it is plain and uninspiring. We would like it to reflect the ethos of our school: nature and nuture.
We want to raise funds to build a play space that sparks the children's imaginations, and gives them plenty of opportunity to learn, play, explore, and grow into confident and thoughtful people. A well-developed outside space would be an incredible benefit for out children, many of whom don't regular access to a garden.
The ideas we have been given by talented designers so far include creating pathways and undulated areas, adding places to plant native fruit trees, vegetables, flowers and shrubs, and installing shaded grassy areas for the children to read, have lunch or song time in. The below pictures show what it looks like now, and then what we hope the finished garden could look like.
We can't wait make to make this dream a reality, and would be incredibly appreciative of all help. Please share if you can, and if you want any more information or have any ideas to help us achieve our goal, please email us on email@example.com
Thank you so much.
