Hamstead Hall Academy Trust is hoping to raise £5000 to cover the costs of their Bugsy Malone production to be shown live in February 2018. Previous shows include 'Grease', 'Hairspray', We Will Rock You' and 'Little Shop of Horrors' which have all been absolutely outstanding. Unfortunatley due to financial constraints and other Goverment funding cuts within Education we are struggling as an Academy to meet the ever increasing costs of putting on such shows and other community concerts such as Vaisakhi and Black History concerts which we have always been extremely successful at. On top of the licence fees and other royalties there is also crucial equipment that needs replacing including the control desk, dimmer controls and software which amounts to over £4000. Hamstead Hall has always been a central hub of the local community, helping to bring all cultures together through a range of diverse acitivities. Please help us to support such fantastic opportunities for all the young people within our community family.
Staff will also be completing a 10k sponsored walk in the Malvern Hills on Saturday 16th September, 2017 to help raise money to support this project.
