I am from Berlin, Germany and for nearly a year I have been smitten with mountain boarding. Watching YouTube & Instagram videos and dreaming about being able to kick up dirt on sharp corners or flip over big air jumps... So I bought a Trampa mountainboard and watched my baby collect dust for the past 8 months because I didn't know how or where to start... Finally, I traveled to the UK for the 2019 UK Mountainboard Championships. What better way to learn than to throw myself right into competition! Loads of people gathered together to share their passion for mountainboarding... I couldn't have asked for a better opportunity... to learn from the best of the best! Everyone reached out to teach and guide me in all the disciplines: Boardercross, Downhill, and Freestyle! I won the Boardercross, Downhill and silver in Freestyle and took home the UK Mountainboard Champion women's title. Even though I am 1400km away I am making this donation because I am so impressed by the talent I witnessed in Freestyle. I realise that in order to gain more recognition for mountainboarding, we have to support the training of our mountainboarders. Growing the sport means that one day, I may have a place to train near me. Until then, I am proud to support this project and become a member of Bugs and will take every opportunity I can to come over and train!
This project offers rewards in return for your donation.
