British Disability Darts Association Vehicle

British Disability Darts Association Vehicle

We are raising funds to purchase a vehicle to enable us to transport our equipment to venues.

We did it!

On 8th May 2017 we successfully raised £160 with 4 supporters in 56 days

We are an organisation that offers sport to people with a wide range of physical disabilities in the form of darts. We are affiliated to the World Disability Darts Association and had 8 qualifiers from the BDDA compete at the World Masters at the Lakeside last December alongside the BDO World Masters.

With every month that goes by our success at making people with disabilities lives richer by having interaction and fulfilment with others in a competitive environment sees our numbers increase; our membership has increased by 50% in the last 12 months and is forecast to do so year on year.

All of our organisers are voluntary and we are in the process of applying for charitable status however this takes time. The specialy designed Wildfire stands that we use allow wheelchair and standing players to play each other on a level playing field. Due to our success within the disabled community we have had to purchase additional Wildfire frames and as the association grows we will need to buy more.

We are Crowd Funding to purchase a van to transport the equipment around the country to the different venues where our tournaments are held as we can no longer fit the required number of frames and associated equipment that we use in the back of our volunteers cars.

Thank you for showing interest in our project.
