Well done to Sam, Vicki and your crew. I have wonderful memories from sailing on Britannia so it was very sad to see how badly she had been neglected. Fingers crossed for the Second Chance appeal.

Recently had a wonderful experience sailing a Gaff Cutter like Britannia. Tall ships like this are not only beautiful but put you in touch with the power of wind and sea. All the best with the restoration.

Hi Sam & Vicki, Great to see you' re going to put Brittania back on the water. Maybe we'll get an opportunity to enjoy a wee g&t before too long xx All the very best Lots of love Soapy

Amazing! The love, energy, skill and dedication required to rescue Britannia for a second time is incredible. Love to Vicki and Sam from Canada!

David Shipton 28th July 2018

Britannia has such a lovely history and this is a wonderful project. My grandad (a merchant sailor at the time when Britannia was “born”) if he were alive today would love this.

David Barclay 28th July 2018

I'm really keen to see Britannia fulfils her new life as a champion to reduce the levels of ocean plastic - this is a fantastic concept for a restored wooden ship once she's back on the waves!
