Bobby Lennox MBE was born in the small coastal town of Saltcoats, he would go on to become Celtic FC most decorated player and 2nd only to Ryan Giggs in British football for most trophies lifted.
His crowning moment came one afternoon in Lisbon on May 25th 1967 where alongside his 11 Scottish teammates he was part of the famous Celtic Lisbon Lions team who defeated the famous Internazionale To become the first British and non-latin side to lift European footballs greatest prize.
We believe that such greatness should be recognised and celebrated and wish to pay tribute to Bobby's achevements by immortalizing him in statue.
