Sale of eBook ‘100 Miles Per Hour’ by Derek Aidoo 30th August 2020

Dear Black Thrive, I’ve read about the work you do in south London, Lambeth. This is my home borough and was raised here. During the pandemic I wrote an eBook about meditation and how to slow down over thinking. This as a way to help people’s mental health. I Charged £1.99 per copy and raised £35 for your charity. You can see the work I do on my website or reach me on social media (Instagram - @derek_aidoo). Thank you for all your work and support for the black community.

I'm a young person working for a social science charity, live very close locally in south east and really wanted to support your cause and so have donated what i am able to right now (the profit of my month's online Depop shop sales). If there's any other way i can help or get involved i'd love to.

Warren Reilly 27th July 2020

Dear Black Thrive, I am pleased to say I have now sold 2 more items from my clothing collection. 1 T-Shirt via my online store (Total Profit £4.58 - 50% Donation to Black Thrive = £2.29) and another t-shirt sold at cost price for a collaborative photoshoot, which the model has given a £2 donation as no profit was made on that item. I have round the donation up to £5. At Present, I have donated £27 to your fund (£20 pounds of which was paid from my own funds and £7 through the donation of %50 of the profits on my items). Hopefully, there will be more sales in future! Warm Regards, Warren Reilly Designs

Hi There, I am extremely proud to represent your charity by helping to raise money for the community therapeutic fund and donating 50% of the profit I make to your fund directly. This payment includes a £20 additional payment out of my own funds and the first source of profit for selling my collection (1 Tote Bag - Profit £2.08 - 50% = £1.04). I hope to make more donations in the future with more sales of my items and be able to support your charity in future by coming to meet you all, attending your events and helping you to raise awareness for your fantastic work! Warm Regards, Warren Reilly
