We aim to produce a theatrical production based around Krampusnacht and exploring themes of loss, mental health and pagan beliefs.

by Follow the Thread Theatre in Birmingham, England, United Kingdom

Follow the Thread Theatre is an up and coming platform aimed at providing an opportunity for people to express themselves creatively through the medium of creative playwriting.

Our first project "Black Peter" by Christopher Schaunig will be hitting Brighton Fringe in 2019 (3rd-9th May) and we hope to kickstart a platform for other creatives, using this as a springboard.

The play tells the story of the Krampus through the eyes of Annika, Stefan and Sebastian and is based in Bavaria 10 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Through exploring the themes of loss, mental health and pagan beliefs the play leaves the audience pondering the question, in more ways than one, are monsters real.....?

Your support will help every element of Follow the Thread Theatre's work both on stage and off. From the creative teams to produce shows, to the creation of our new writing platform and community projects, your contribution will enable us to work to the highest possible standards.
