We are raising funds to update the Pre-school resources and make sure that our children have some brilliant new story books and play resources that represent and celebrate Black lives and culture.
St. Catherine’s Pre-School is passionate about making sure diversity and inclusion is represented across all resources and activities. However, early years funding has been extremely tight for the last few years and it has been tough to purchase new materials.
The funds raised will be ring-fenced for the following new resources:
- 8 new books (see reading list below)
- 2 new sets of play figures
- Some new fabric and scarves for dressing up
We will be purchasing all the books from our local independent Bookshop in Bridport and have worked with them and the Pre-school to put together this great reading list.
We’d really appreciate any support you can offer so that the children at St. Catherine’s have access to brilliant new resources which positively represent Black lives and inspire open hearts and minds in our future generations.
