Not to long ago, acceptance of systemic racism was taught to me in the classroom. I still hear it echoing around me as an adult. It makes me wonder how different life might be if diverse histories were valued equally?
Black history runs through every month, it is in every building in the streets of Liverpool, in life saving cancer treatments, scientific and literary giants, wonderful artists and courageous civil rights leaders.
At this challenging time, it is more important than ever to ensure that young people feel valued and inspired. Join me in putting money where my mouth is, and channelling anti-racism towards meaningful change!
