Not quite
Unfortunately this project was not successful.

The aim is to raise funds to pay for a feasibility study. This in turn, will help the release of funds from the investors.

In 2017 Focus Rides was established, with three main objectives;

1. To provide both adults and children the opportunity and confidence to take up the sport, whilst having fun in a safe and supportive environment.

2. To develop the skills of more advanced riders.

3. To promote health and wellbeing, whilst showcasing how accessible the countryside can be on bikes

Cycling is now the biggest and most participated sport in the UK. It gives people the opportunity to meet new friends, and get out in the fresh air, which is great for mental stimulation.

A landowner, based within The Lincolnshire Wolds, has provided me with the rare opportunity to build a full bike park close to the Tetford area. Based on similar bike parks of this scale, it would have an estimated footfall of 300,000 per year. The park would cater for riders from beginner to advance, and would include; cyclo-cross, cross country, mountain bike trails and a pump track. Additional revenue would be generated from an onsite café, bike shop and classroom.

At present I have several investors keen to fund the cost of the build (approximately £600,000). However, for them to invest in the project, a feasibility study is required. The company we are using to carry out the feasibility study have managed some of the best bike parks and projects in the UK. They are the SME who would be carrying out the study and project managing the build.

The cost of the feasibility study is £26,000. This provides an in depth, specialist study, the type required for the project I am running. What I am looking for is donations toward this study. For any donations over £2000 your company logo and name will be advertised on a board by the cafe entrance for visitors to see, for as long as the bike park is operational.

This project would benefit the local community in terms of jobs, attracting tourism and supporting local businesses. I really hope you can see the value in this project to the area and get behind supporting it.
