Reducing litter and waste within our local area and the importance of recycling and reducing the use of single use plastics.

Jessica (aged 10) set up her Bertie Bottle Campaign last year. The aim of the campaign is to reduce the use of single use plastics along with ensuring her local area is kept tidy. Jessica has a number of local businesses who pledge to reduce single use plastics and she regularly litter picks in her local area. A fantastic group of volunteers regularly meet up to litter pick. A number of local business have donated litter pick equipment and assist with regular litter picks around their own premises and the  campaign also has the support of the local parish council.

The campaign now wants to include installing dog poo bag dispensers within the local area to prevent dog fouling. The Crowdfunding page is set up to assist with this new project - to enable Bertie Bottle to top up the dispensers with biodegradable poo bags. Thank you to everyone who can help support the Bertie Bottle Campaign.  We can all make a difference!
