Battlefield Community Project Lantern Parade 2018

We did it
On 31st October 2018 we successfully raised £500 with 41 supporters in 56 days
We want to keep battlefield shining bright for Halloween 2018 and put on an amazing community event Lantern Parade which is free for all :)

Born from the Battlefield Community Street Party 2009, this group has been making its way through a long to do list for helping make Battlefield an even better place than it is already.
As a group of local residents who love where we live, we want to do all we can to keep it that way. We have carried out lots of exciting projects in the area, including:
- our lovely community garden
- cleanups
- community events (such as our annual Street Party, the Halloween Lantern Parade, and Spring Clean up)
- activities for kids and young people
- arts projects
- gardening
Our Halloween lantern parade is a FREE event and we want to keep it inclusive for all but it needs a bit of support to run fantastic free kids workshops prior to the day and pay for some much reduced costed community entertainers.
