To rewild over 450 acres of upland farm in Scotland, restoring dynamic natural processes for wildlife and the climate.
by Bamff Wildland in Alyth, Scotland, United Kingdom
I know this will be put to good use
Thanks for hosting a visit by Greener Glenfarg.
Well done, this is such a worthwhile cause
Thanks for taking us on a fascinating guided walk to see the beavers at Bamff. With best wishes from Piers and Maureen Bowser, Dundee
Although I live in New Zealand, I grew up in Britain and have been dismayed to see the shocking decline in its wildlife. I love the other rewilding that is taking place in different parts of the country and would love to think that beavers will be able to flourish without harrassment and that lynx and wildcat could once again roam over the countryside, helping to enrich biodiversity and reclaim their place in the ecosystem. I should love to be able to see the difference to your fenced area, after the sheep are gone and ponies, cattle and pigs are reintroduced. I wish you the very best of luck and hope more and more people sign on to participate.
Thank you for your tremendous work and for letting us visit, Fran and Nick
Having stayed in Easter Bamff last weekend this is a dream world so so worth supporting. We can’t wait to relocate to Scotland so we can spend more time being shouted at by the peacock 🙃
Best wishes with your re-wilding project. Hope many will follow.
Such a fantastic project. Thanks so much for all your hard work in rewilding and protecting our beautiful natural world, warm regards, Sue, Sydney Australia
Keep working your magic, it's a truly beautiful place to visit!
Heartfelt thanks and congratulations to the family and all others who are creating this incredible positive change. May your government find the will and wisdom to make efforts like yours a priority.
Loved our stay at Bamff and great to see the work being done to restore habitats.
Good for you guys, keep up the good work! I wish I was young again, I’d be there helping out 😟
We loved our visit and applaud the Ramsay family for their efforts. It isn't always easy or popular to try and turn a tide but unlike King Canute, Bamff is demonstrating that perhaps the tide of human destruction can be reversed.
I have loved Sophie's singing and used to see the Mediaeval Baebes in concet & at the Joust. So this is a thank you for her.
Discovered you on Channel 4 News last night and was inspired. Wishing you every success.
Thank you so much for your kindness and time in showing us the beavers on Sunday. It was very good to see you all and the beavers' home was a magically beautiful spot. My friends had a wonderful time and are inspired to book themselves a holiday! xx
I’m so proud of you guys for starting this initiative in Scotland. Hopefully you’ll see huge success and we can have a wild Scotland and support our planet healing.
Thank you for taking such an amazing commitment to rewild your land. I live in Australia & saw your video on YouTube & thought what a great project it was. And so I wanted to be a part of it in this small way. I also wanted to let you know there are people on the other side of the world who support you & are grateful for what you are doing, best of luck, Sue-Ellen
Please keep up the great work! It's an example to others to follow.
More power to your elbow - we need lots and lots more initiatives like this.
We are similarly re-wilding two ex-farms in Scotland, and it is fantastic to see how you are planning the re-wilding Bamff! Wish you ongoing joy and gratifying success with your project Glynn and Annie Turnbull
Great project. Just back from a few days camping at Knepp. We came to visit your beaver project a few years back and delighted to see what progress now in the UK.
