As an actor I am fascinated by people; by their lives and their stories. We are all unique with amazing stories that make us who we are.

(the amount currently raised via crowdfunding will only cover about half of our expenses)

The medium of storytelling through short film is a wonderful platform to create a piece of art that can leave people questioning their own opinions, beliefs and attitudes. I have written this short film to do just that.

Are you judgemental of the people who use food banks?

Do you have a conditioned biased view of homeless people?

Do you unconsciously racially profile people?

Do you consider neuro diversity when interpreting people’s behaviours?

Are single parents to blame for their predicament?

These are all questions we should be asking ourselves….

Now, what about Baked Beans….
Nicole is a single mum to an autistic son Archie and baby daughter Rose. She recently escaped domestic violence and is now left relying of food banks to feed her family.

With financial support I want to create opportunities for the creative arts industry. For actors from diverse unrepresented backgrounds and opportunities for up coming directors, sound recordists, colour graders script supervisors, musicians, producers, Hair & makeup artists, costume designers, set designers etc.

So as much as this project is about getting this piece of art out there, I also want to create credits and experience for people from making this short film.

By donating to this project you will be directly supporting creating work which will give many people valued experience in the film industry and an IMDb credit towards their future career path. Lets fund the creative arts!

This is a not for profit project and will not be submitted to gain profits. All money raised will be put directly back into creating the film and creating jobs.

My first short film "The Party" is already a multi-award winning short film addressing the issue of a mum with a disabled child.
