Terms & Conditions

  • By entering into this draw, each entrant consents to these Terms and Conditions.
  • Entrants must be over 18 years of age (entries may be made by parents, guardians or responsible adults for prizes for under-18s).
  • The prize draw is open to anyone over the age of 18 worldwide except for employees of the Promoters, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the prize draw.
  • Entries will be accepted between 0900 9 July 2021 and 1700 13 August 2021.
  • Entrants may enter as many times as they like.
  • There are two ways to enter; either make a pledge on this project and select a reward when you make your pledge or as set out below. Pledges made as donations without selecting an associated reward will not count as an entry to the prize draw.
  • Entrants can pledge to the campaign without entering the prize draw.
  • To enter the draw without making a pledge, send a postcard or an envelope by first or second class mail with your name, postal address, email address and contact telephone number to: #BackingBritishSnowsport Prize Draw, care of GB Snowsport, 101 New Cavendish Street, London, W1W 6XH. Entries must be sent on a postcard, or on or within an envelope. Entries received on anything other than a postcard or envelope will not be accepted. In the case of multiple entries received in a single envelope or postcard, only one entry will be entered into the prize draw. Entries sent by post must be received by the closing date and time for receipt of entries. Postal entries without correct and sufficient postage paid will be invalid and will not be entered for the draw. Personal and by hand deliveries will not be accepted.
  • Following the closing date, the winner(s) will be chosen at random and contacted before Friday 3 September, 2021. The winners will be contacted by email with details of how to claim their prize. If the winner(s) does not respond within 72 hours of the initial email being sent, the next winner will be chosen at random and emailed within one week.
  • Prizes may have their own specific terms and conditions which the winner(s) will be required to adhere to which may include but are not limited to health and safety declarations, proof of appropriate insurance, proof of age, proof of eligibility or other proofs deemed appropriate to the nature of the specific prizes.
  • Any prizes which require travel, accommodation, personal insurance costs or any additional costs beyond the specific terms of the prize will be the sole responsibility of the winner(s).
  • The prize will provide tickets and access to the British Alpine Ski Championships in March 2022 for two people, and guest of honour status at a dinner hosted by Sir John Ritblat. Winners will also be provided with the opportunity for a meet-and-greet with British atheltes, pending athlete availability. Winners will arrange and bear the costs of any transport and accommodation required.
  • The use of the personal data of entrants to the draw will be governed by our privacy policy which can be found at .  In particular, the Promoter will process the personal data of all entrants for the purposes of its management and administration of the draw and the award and administration of the prizes on the basis that it is necessary for the performance and operation of the draw and that it is in the legitimate interests of the promoter and the entrants to do so and such interests are not overridden by the rights of the entrants.
  • The Promoter will keep entrants’ personal details in accordance with its privacy policy for a reasonable time so that it can send any prize that an entrant has won, to verify that these rules have been complied with, to deal with any queries which may arise and for accounting and auditing purposes.
  • The Promoter may disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these Terms and Conditions (in the Promoter’s sole opinion) or who, in the Promoter’s sole determination, has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest, or unjust to other entrants including, without limitation, tampering with the operation of the prize draw, manipulating or rigging votes, hacking, deceiving, cheating or by harassing or threatening other entrants or a representative of the Promoter.

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law and the courts of England will have exclusive jurisdiction.
