Autistic Creative Cafe

help build a creative café for young people living with mental health issues and autism

We did it!

On 8th Nov 2016 we successfully raised £415 with 16 supporters in 56 days
me and a few friends have banded together to create a space in London for young creatives living with Autism and Mental health issues
we are hoping to raise enough money to pay for a deposit on a small space where we can do classes, for people who want to learn, sewing, dress making, beading, embroidery, printing, dye work, knitting, crochet and tailoring
we would not charge for these classes but hope that people would donate a small amount to cover materials, and we would buy a coffe machine, to generate a small amount of cash flow, and have rails to exhibit and sell the young peoples work, and hopefully become a small hub of young creative designers in London, but the space would also double as a charity that offers a refuge from the often hard city, where people can come and stay aslnog as they like, surrounded and supported by other creative like minded people
our short term goal is to open this place and do classes for young people with autism and mental health issues, our long term goal is to become a full registerd charity that tackles the particle difficulties that people with autism and mental health issues face living day to day, our joint goal is to send the message to every young person struggeling in a city that is hard to live in, there is a place for you to come where you always be welcome, you are not alone.
any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated and get us further to our goal, thank you so much for taking the time to read this and please share on your social media page to anyone you think would be interested in supporting our cause
thankyou all.
