My name is Austin and I am the lead vocalist/guitarist for Austin Miller.

We have been working together for 3 years. In that time, we have released an EP called 'Some Degree of Comfort' followed by 2 singles that will be part of our upcoming release (early this year). We have been working together throughout the last 3 years in order to build a local following in Glasgow, build a portfolio of live musicians and in turn have performed in established venues across Scotland such as King Tuts and Oran Mor. We have also managed to branch out further afield to cities such as Manchester and managed to put on 2 headline shows. At the beginning of this year and before the global pandemic, we organised a short tour of Scotland and England which covered the cities of Manchester, Glasgow and Dumfries.

Whilst touring and performing, we have managed to build strong working relationships with other local bands based in Scotland and England as well as developing a small fan base.

During the pandemic this year, we set out to Dumfries to record the rest of our album. This has been an entirely self funded project that we were passionate about pursuing. Obviously, due to covid and the ongoing expenses, we would be unable to continue working as we are without any funding.

We’ve been working closely with videographer Diana Dumi, who has been helping us document video footage of our recording sessions as well as helming our music videos.

All of our projects thus far have been funded entirely by ourselves. Due to the fact that performing in front of a live audience would not be possible, we have decided to record a live performance of an exclusive acoustic set for everyone to enjoy. Looking forward to the future, we would love to continue to develop as a band and record/perform more music for audiences but this would prove to be impossible without funding.

We would love to be able to reward the people that will be working with us to make this project possible. As you know, the music industry has struggled a lot this year to keep afloat and we would love to be able to help those out who need the support for the amazing work that they do.

We would love to record a fulfilling performance for people to enjoy during these tough times and to achieve that, we want to make sure that maximum time and effort is put into it. We hope that the money we raise for this event will propel us into a better position where we can continue to do what we love and keep our passion for music making.

Got an idea like this?

Over £100 million has been raised from our crowd to support the projects they love! Plus tens of millions more unlocked by our partners.
