First female crew to row the Atlantic unaided in bid to break World Record of 45 days & raise £30k for Barnardo's & Forces Children's Trust

by oliviawilson87 in Devon

In January 2016, ex-Army Officer, Olivia Wilson, (second from the left) will form part of the first all-female crew to row the Atlantic unaided and outside the remit of a race; in an attempt to break the current female World Record of 45 days and raise £35k for Barnardo's and the Focres Children's Trust. Olivia is passionate about taking on gruelling challenges in aid of charitable causes. Her driving force for this Challenge was the sudden loss of her father in 2012. She believes that no child should have to suffer the loss of a parent, especially at a young age, and particularly whilst their parent was in  Service to their Country. Olivia must raise £15k to fund this expedition, this includes: safety equipment, food, boat, training and many other resources. She is looking for donations to make this expedition possible, and help her, help others. Thank you.
