We’re fundraising for Homepod. The architectural resourcing system to search, discover and buy design products such as finishes, furniture, fixtures, electrical. An innovative algorithm, measures the sustainability value of these products, with a score. That helps to monetise points at purchase, and sale, which you can trade, with your friends.
Homepod connects you with your home one step further. It helps you discover personalized home furnishings that fit your choices and it's always with you, in your pocket.
Whether the office, factory, warehouse or even our homes. A building has a profound ability to affect our lives, our moods, our productivity and our dealings with others.
The accessories we bring into buildings, make them places we can go and relax, take time out, recharge the batteries. It is in our nature to make these, the private spaces, unique for our own personal needs and desires. Sometimes these are heirlooms, but in the most part we acquire them over time from a variety of sources.
This is time consuming and unfortunately, mistakes happen often. It is not unusual for us, designers, to use the full range of options when sourcing accessories and furnishings. These can be department stores, variety stores, hype/supermarkets, interior specialists, single/brand shops or discounters. And still, nine out of ten designs are over budget.
Moreover, in the EU, we generate 980 million tonnes of waste every year in the construction industry in a market size where the transaction value is €162 billion for 503 million inhabitants which spend on average €1250/square meter. That’s 1.9 tonnes of waste/person, every year.
We developed an innovative algorithm that can determine the ‘sustainability factor’ of architectural resources.
Homepod is a single platform that leverages this algorithm to provide informed analytics about the sustainability of accessories. These can be flat packed products, home components, furniture, fitting and electricals. It provides a one-stop sourcing platform that and offers users a wide range of style, full budget control, as well as first-of-a-kind information about product sustainability.
HOMEPOD saves us time (about 10 min per item) and money and has the potential to save over 60kg of waste/person in in Europe/US.
- Allowing us designers to make sustainable purchase choices, reducing waste and protecting the environment,
- Providing us designers a financial advantage by a high degree of budget control,
- Enabling us designers to find perfectly matched products for enhanced aesthetics of home designs.

You can either search for 'whatever you want' or you can choose to filter the results by selecting 3 colors of preference that match your style. If we raise over £3m we add patterns next to color selection.
By theory even limitless has limits! otherwise wouldn't exist because can't be defined. A budget and size filter helps us to understand what you want to search for. That helps us to remove any of the residual design choices which you have when it comes to budget, color and location.
Location ... Location ... Location. Local products or foreign products. It's really your choice. Could be a scandinavian wooden furniture or a stylish italian fitted kitchen. The whole world is in your pocket.

Each product is benchmarked with Homepod's innovative algorithm which gives you the option to organize your products and to create projects groups or boards or add more product or simple checkout.
Each project, group or board is independently assessed for budget and sustainability score which helps you make conscious decisions about your designs in terms of budget control and sustainable impact.
Keeping a healthy design workforce is also important. For this we've created the import manager which let's you import your own suppliers, manage your designers, keep control of your budgets and import sensitive BIM data from your project and keep it on budget and most importantly on time with notifications.
The true novelty of Homepod is that it will be the first of a kind platform to provide a seamless integration of style, budget, and sustainability in sourcing architectural designs. Homepod is the only solution with a sustainability and recyclability dimension. This is made possible by our unique algorithm for the sustainability factor, which will be patented. which makes it easier to understand where it can go to recycle or up-cycle.
The direct benefit to the user is very clear when considering Homepod’s functionality. In its fully developed state it will provide a pallet of colours which can be used as a filter to find items. Each product will have a sustainability factor calculated by our algorithm based on a data search of the product profile. In order for the products to be part of the search we started to sign-up a range of suppliers like you, distributors and retailers. Can be based globally.
Users will have access via a secure sign on. At the moment to achieve a similar result, a user will have to search a range of websites, catalogues (paper and electronic) perhaps even stroll through shops to develop a complimentary pallet of colours and items.
Deliveries will be done by a 3rd party courier enhanced with sustainable factor based on each km travelled and the car type..
Deloitte published recently the average transaction per square meter which indicates that we have sufficient backbones to supplement the AEC with a Sustainability Factor (SF).
Homepod is a Hybrid Value Chain (HVC) PaaS business model that leverages the capabilities of the business and citizen sectors to enable the delivery of architectural resources to populations in a more cost-effective way.
Companies tap into new markets and expand their client base. Homepod enables populations to buy sustainable rated products from a global database of distributors that provides a cost-effective way for citizens but also for micro, small and medium sized businesses.
The SF is harvested from the supplier’s product description using our architectural resourcing system www.homepod.eu
Our vision is to make Homepod an underlying instrument, from which the SF can be used as a derivative for owner's sustainable assets.
To index the price of the SF, Homepod uses an algorithm with a function that provides a real price from multiple indicators such as:
- Internal indicators: materials used, product size, product price (asked), commodity price (exchange) = SF, a nominal value 0,1,2,.......10
- External indicators: strike price, volatility, time until expiration, interest rates and dividends paid by component securities = SF(X) , a cash value $/£ value multiplied by $/£100
The citizen can trade this score in exchange markets as a sustainable derivative which brings additional income.
The HVC model is synchronized with the SF which Homepod provides and when a citizen makes a product acquisition, our model leverages the SF.
Today, the company is harvesting BIGDATA to monetise the sustainable value of products which our users collect when buying architectural resources. These points will be available for trade when the SF is released.

The size of the home furnishings market is large with a broad range of products by value – lamps can range from low to moderate costs, whereas furniture can range from moderate to high cost. For example, EU furniture production was €83 billion in 2010 in a sector dominated by SMEs. Protectionism measure still exists in some markets and foreign product quality is climbing. Homepod has the ability to negate these weaknesses by facilitating SME manufacturers to offer products in new markets, across Europe and the world, directly to customers with a reduction in sales and marketing costs.
The Buildings Performance Institute Europe (BIPE) reports that Europe’s population of 512 million people occupy 75% of the building stock, of which 64% are single family houses. At least 50% of residential buildings are occupied by the owner in all countries. The UK alone has 4.1million privately owned dwellings of which 2.4million (58%) are occupied by the owners. Housing in EU is generally in short supply, so there will be an ever increasing market and demand for home accessories and furnishings.
Globalisation and e-commerce have escalated rapidly over the last two decades. Many markets and the UK in particular, have seen that there are fewer reasons to visit retail parks and high street retailers. Homepod with our resource management and ability to network all suppliers will benefit from this trend as they will have the benefit of a tool to manage and schedule all their purchase and link in with common industry platforms. We will cooperate with any national/regional initiative that the building sector adopts. Full compliance with local regulations will stimulate market uptake.
For instance, in the UK we will be BIM and RIBA compliant. BIM models will be used to manage raw material acquisition so that an installer simply has to arrive on site and install. Further by adopting Royal Institute of British Architects standards (RIBA) a structured engineering approach is ensured and operational risk is mitigated.
Likewise, our strategy is to implement national and regional standards and workflows used by designers in every market in which we launch Homepod. This way we will be classified under the Order of the Architects board.
My plan to tacle the market:
